Nikon Plan Apo 40x/0.95 high-NA microscope objective, made in Japan. Marked: Nikon JAPAN Plan Apo 40/0.95 160/0.11-0.23 This is a high-quality finite-conjugate Nikon Plan Apochromat objective designed for a 160 mm tube length. It features an adjustable coverslip correction collar from 0.11 to 0.23 mm, with markings including the standard 0.17 mm coverslip thickness.

The objective is in good overall cosmetic condition for its age, with some normal signs of previous use. Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description. The front element is shown in close-up in the photographs.

The adjustment rings/collars are present and the engraved markings remain clear. Supplied with the Nikon protective storage case shown in the photographs.
